The menu is a celebration of the finest local ingredients, presented with culinary artistry and a flair for indulgence. From the moment you sit down, the aroma of the Organic Sourdough Bread and Butter sets a comforting tone, inviting you to explore a symphony of flavors. The Cioppino, revered by patrons for its perfectly balanced medley of fresh seafood, is a standout—rich, savory, and brimming with tender prawns, scallops, and clams, simmered in a tomato-based broth that lingers pleasantly on the palate.
For those who crave surf and turf grandeur, the Ribeye Steak paired with Lobster Tail offers a decadent fusion of smoky, juicy beef alongside buttery, succulent lobster. This dish, highly recommended by Robert Garcia, pairs flawlessly with cocktails like a smooth Jameson Old Fashioned or a crisp, tantalizing Margarita. Meanwhile, lighter options such as the Grilled Salmon and Prawns and Scallops Risotto combine fresh, coastal flavors with comforting textures, showcasing the kitchen’s expertise in seafood preparation.
Salad selections, from the crisp House Salad with its balsamic onions and cucumbers to the hearty Steak Salad featuring garlic pan-seared tenderloin tips and tangy bleu cheese, add vibrant freshness to the meal. Complement your entrée with decadent sides like Creamed Garlic Spinach, Saffron Risotto, or the indulgent Garlic & Cracked Pepper Jumbo Scallops, which perfectly elevate the dining experience.
Dessert lovers will find delight in the luscious Key Lime Pie and velvety Strawberry Cheesecake, or revel in a sweet surprise like the complimentary cannoli, thoughtfully offered in celebration of personal milestones, such as 60 days of sobriety. This gesture not only speaks to the restaurant’s attention to customer experience but also to its inviting, community-oriented spirit.
Wine enthusiasts can indulge in carefully curated selections like the Duckhorn Cabernet from California, known for its complex aromas of chocolate-covered blueberry and fig, layered with marzipan and sage, a perfect match for hearty meat dishes.
While some find the price point moderate, the overwhelming consensus among visitors is that quality, service, and memorable views justify the splurge. Guests appreciate convenient parking when arriving in quieter hours and the restaurant’s capacity for intimate, elevated dining upstairs, away from the buzz.
For couples considering a wedding venue, the Cliff House combines stunning waterfront vistas with exquisite cuisine, making celebrations truly unforgettable. Whether indulging in fresh seafood, savoring crafted cocktails, or simply soaking in panoramic sunsets, the Cliff House Restaurant delivers an authentic Pacific Northwest experience that resonates long after the last bite.
Service was above par! I ordered Cioppino and Caesar salad, the gf ordered lobster and prawn Alfredo and clam chowder. The clam chowder was the best I’ve ever tasted. All seafood in both dishes were cooked to perfection, nothing in my Ciaoppino was over cooked. It’s difficult to find seafood that’s cooked to perfection. I forgot to snap a pic before I started to eat.
We enjoyed a nice supper at the Cliff House. Great ambiance and a relaxing atmosphere. I tried the ribeye and lobster tail entree. Along with their Jameson Old Fashioned. My wife had the Captains Platter and a dirty Martini. Great restaurant for a special occasion.
I had the fish and chips and I tasted the cioppino. The service was top notch. Friendly, attentive but not too bothersome. The atmosphere was somewhat casual yet classy. The view had lots to do with the atmosphere. The view was worth every penny. The fish and chips were better than most but I wasn't inspired to write home about it. The Cioppino (basically a seafood stew) was really good. Really nice flavor from the tomato based broth. I thought I would try a steak the next time I go but I'm thinking maybe Cioppino? Great place to impress first date(s).
It's a little on the pricey side but the food was very high quality, parking wasn't bad, and the views were great. We went when it wasn't busy and ate upstairs in the dining room. I can totally see how parking would be an issue when it got busier though, the lot is a bit small and I didn't see any good overflow close by. Staff was great, food was good, would go again
First time at Cliff House. Ashley our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and portions were huge.
My wife and I visited Cliff House restaurant last night. The main draw is undoubtedly the awesome oceanfront view, which is breathtaking and worth experiencing. The service was excellent — our server was perfectly attentive, knowledgeable, and provided great care throughout the meal. The cocktails were also well-made and enjoyable. The food was decent, but frankly not exceptional. Given the premium price point, I expected significantly higher quality. Even accounting for the incredible view, the menu felt greatly overpriced. It's a great spot for drinks and the view, but don't expect the culinary value to match the high prices.
Things have changed. Consistently getting better and better. We have traveled all over N. America and had some really good meals and service. Tonight our meals were top 5 in life at the Cliff House. Ate downstairs, the bartender tonight went out of his way to make things great!! Food is usually good, tonight it was spectacular!!! Good job guys!
